Appleton Specialty Glass (Taicang) Limited (ASG) is a large-scale manufacturer specializing in the research, development and production of U profiled channel glass for architectural applications. The company is recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a Provincial “Specialized and Innovative” Enterprise in China, and is one of the drafting participants of the industry standard?JCT 867-2025 U Profiled Glass for Building. ASG was formerly Pilkington Solar (Taicang) Limited, a wholly foreign-owned enterprise established by the UK-based Pilkington Group. Founded in 2006 and put into operation in 2008, the company is located in Taicang, Jiangsu Province, in close proximity to Shanghai with convenient access to Hongqiao transportation hub.
